Romantic Garden Green, White & Gold Wedding at Laurel Creek Manor
What a joy Savanna and Vince were to work with! I did most of the design and planning with Savanna and her mom, but every once in awhile Vince would pop in to be a part of it. I knew I had won him over when he finally smiled, as he was a tough nut to crack. :) They selected Laurel Creek Manor as their wedding venue, and really wanted to play off it's natural PNW vibe by keeping the beautiful grounds very classic with greenery climbing on everything, simple white flowers, and accents of gold. I loved that Savanna's mom surprised her once they got to Laurel Creek Manor with a pair of her very own Christian Louboutin shoes that Savanna has been dying to get forever. What a sweet gift for the bride on her wedding day.
Surrounded by their wedding party, Savanna and Vince exchanged vows under a stunning draped arbor that looked like it was coming alive with greenery climbing up it. We brought in some rustic elements into the design with wood crates and lanterns at the base of the arbor. The lanterns and crates were later transitioned to the reception to act as decor in front of the head table.
The reception tent looked lovely and kept super simple with ivory textured linens, gold charger plates and personalized succulents on each guests plate that doubled as their wedding favors.
My favorite part of the wedding was the grand exit that was kept a secret from all the guests. After the pretty spectacular fireworks show (which everyone thought was the grand finale), we told guests to stay put and continue to watch overheard. Sure enough, as guests continued to watch the night sky, the air was soon filled with the thump, thump, thump of chopper blades. It didn't take much longer for everyone to realize that helicopter was landing at the venue! Savanna and Vince ran to the chopper and were taken up into the night sky- talk about a GRAND exit!
I loved getting to be a part of such a sweet couple, family and beautiful wedding day. Thank you Savanna and Vince for allowing me to be a part of your special day!
