Meet Our Newest Associate Planner, Mandy Brown!! Specializing in Tacoma and South Sound Weddings!

Originally from Grosse Pointe, Michigan, Mandy moved to Tacoma in 2010 after college and has worked for both the Washington Athletic Club and The Rainier Club in Seattle. She has worked on a wide variety of events from corporate and social gatherings, holiday parties, fundraisers and of course, many, many weddings. Her favorite ones include personal and cultural touches (who wouldn't love roasting a pig in the PNW largest indoor fireplace!).

Mandy has fallen in love with the South Sound, especially with Tacoma. Living in the North End of Tacoma became a wonderful benefit for her while getting used to living in a new state. Small enough to get around easily, while still offering city life, wonderful parks and amazing water front to its residents, Tacoma has grown so much in the time she has lived there and she is excited to see all the continued growth of the city (McMenamins and Rhein Haus coming soon!), while still keeping the "small town" feel that allows you to start up a conversation with just about anyone. The wedding venues and vendors in the South Sound are like little hidden gems, offering a lot of what Greater Seattle has, but with more parking! Whether you are looking for an outdoor garden, the classic rustic barn, historic features or modern museum, all while wanting photos along the waterfront, we have what you are looking for. 

Outside of wedding planning, Mandy and her husband are working to (slowly) remodel their house in Tacoma, enjoy exploring the South Sound's newest offerings, Sunday brunch at The Red Hot, spending time with her nephew and niece, and can't resist a good walk in Point Defiance Park.
