Pastel Summer Romance Wedding at Russell's in Bothell
Have you ever felt time stand still? I have, and Brian and Marlene's wedding was the first time I had ever experienced the collective breathe leave the room and time stand still. The love these two have for each other is crazy and infections. Their excitement for their wedding day throughout the planning process and on the day itself is truly why I love my job.
Marlene looked like a Greek goddess in her stunning sheath dress with lace detail and cap sleeves. Brian opted for a very chic custom suit in navy with black trim details. The simplicity of their decor spoke to them as a couple in wanting things easy yet elegant. They selected a timeless color palette of peach, pink, green, and white to compliment their traditional Filipino Catholic wedding ceremony and made an easy transition to a more rustic reception setting.
I love how their initial inspiration design board translated into reality on their wedding day. Beautiful signage, garden style flower arrangements, and a nod to Marlene's love of reading classic novels were even brought into the centerpieces.
Marlene and Brian's wedding was a perfect example of how simple, well executed details can create an elegant, timeless wedding day look. Pay attention to the details, it's the little things that truly make the event memorable, and remember to take time to enjoy them. The wedding day goes by so fast. As a planner, I try to build in time where the couple can just take a moment to breathe and make time stand still.
