Guest Appearance on the Paper Talk Podcast- Building A Positive Reputation Through Networking

It’s always fun when you get to step outside of your comfort zone and engage with other industries. While I’ve known Quynh from a friend of a friend for quite a few years now, I met Jessie back in 2019 when I was invited to be a guest speaker at a Masterclass Paper Flower Workshop- yes, paper flowers with artists who flew in from around the world!

These ladies are the owners of Pink & Posey and The Paper Talk Podcast respectively who are amazing paper artists creating beauty wherever they go.

I was recently invited to be a featured speaker on the Paper Talk Podcast, episode #129 where I shared about my tenured experience as a Seattle-based wedding planner and the power of building an excellent reputation through networking.

I have been lucky enough to build a referral-based business through 100% networking. That is how I spend my “advertising” budget is attending and being plugged into our local networking organizations. I am currently the President of WIPA Seattle, and have been past Chapter Director for Wedding Network Seattle and have been a key-note speaker for both ILEA & NACE Seattle. Don’t ever underestimate the power of your network!
