Carrie & Cliff's Tropical Columbia Winery Wedding

When Carrie and Cliff first started planning their wedding, it was a small 35-person guest list at her mother’s Lake Steven’s home with an understated elegance feel. A few weeks into planning, the guest list outgrew the property and the venue search began. They fell in love with Columbia Winery and realized that they wanted to incorporate their love of tropical vacations.

For the ceremony, custom columns were built to make the flowers look like they were floating in front of the barrel wall. All the ceremony décor was reused during the reception at the head table, around the cake table and lounge seating. This in addition to the stunning colorful centerpieces made a complete change in the room. At the end of the night, one of the best compliments was from a guest saying that the wedding was a perfect representation of the couple.

Carrie and Cliff wanted to bring together an over the top design while wanting to make sure it didn’t look cluttered or fussy. We kept the place settings simple and put the focus on some of Carrie’s favorite flowers and greenery. All the day-of paper goods were kept clean with a modern bold font and pops of fun (personal favorite of the Mandy’s… the pineapple escort board)
