Jodie and Jordan | Chinese Wedding Planner
Although I unfortunately have limited images from this wedding, I am very please with how Jodie and Jordan's wedding day came together. Jodie's father had his list of requirements for the wedding day reception, which included it being held at Joy Palace. However, Jodie's tastes were a little different, so we compromised by bringing in pipe and drape, rental chairs and unique table decor to dress up what otherwise would have just been Chinese restaurant decor. Jodie and Jordan love all things Asian, and although they are both Chinese, we did also include nods to Japanese (cherry blossom wedding cake) and Korean culture (mini figurines). As Seattle's only wedding planner specializing in Asian weddings, both Jodie and Jordan were excited to have a planner with them that understood the culture, the "do's" and "don'ts" of types of flowers and decor, and the need to never run out of food. Guests were treated to a traditional (and delicious!) 8-course meal before dancing the night away.
