Bell Harbor Wedding in Seattle | New Creations Wedding and Event Planning

Abby and Thomas are two of the sweetest people on the planet! I absolutely loved being a part of their day! Not only were they incredibly warm and welcoming, but their families were as well, which made their wedding day an absolute pleasure to help plan.

Abby knew her color palette needed to include soft pink, but we worked together to create her inspiration board to include a soft gray, gold and ivory. The feeling for the day was kept soft and romantic.

Thanks to the late September weather cooperating, we were able to have the ceremony up on Bell Harbor’s rooftop. This is a stunning wedding ceremony choice in Seattle due to having a 360 degree view of the Puget Sound in front of you and downtown Seattle behind you.

Even though Abby is Filipino, they opted to not host their ceremony in a Catholic church, but I love that they still brought in Filipino traditions of the cord, veil and coins into the ceremony.

Guests stayed and mingled on the rooftop for cocktail hour before heading down into the ballroom for the reception and dancing. During the reception, Thomas’ Korean heritage was honored by Abby changing into a lovely traditional Korean dress and hat for the cake cutting and toasts. She later changed back into her stunning western wedding gown for the rest of the evening.

Of course, no Filipino wedding would be complete without the money dance, which kicked off the rest of the night with the dance floor hopping!
